The Bonnie has reached 6000 miles now so it's time for me to spill old engine oil over the drive again! (I managed not too) Got rid of this ... which is especially designed to allow a screwdriver to slip off and scratch your engine paint or just look crap once it's been used a few times. With this from TEC bike parts Not only can you actually put a socket or spanner on it but it matches the engine casing
Well here I am, screen adjusted rode all the way down between 0- 90 mph with visor up. No buffeting , Wind noise still there but greatly reduced, it's a go-er! Just need to get Mrs crispey on the back to see if it sorts her buffeting!! Just need to work out a way to attach the satnav above the clocks again!
Well after a bit of head scratching, managed to find a way of mounting the satnav above the clocks, can't do it the same way as with standard screen as the madstad doesn't leave enough space between the plates and clocks. And surprisingly it works!!
Back from my hols and could not wait to get out on the bike. Took a trip to local dealers yesterday to get the gear lever lubed on the LT and then got very wet coming home; will need to clean it over the weekend. Put the linings in my textiles to combat the onset of the cold weather, winter is on its way. Wessa
Throttle body sync done. Slight fluctuation between both, but within spec, so didn't bother adjusting (which would have been a pain, as the balance screw is downright impossible to reach!).
Sorry Sprint I didn't see your question as I've been pretty busy this last 48 hours. Now what was it again ?????????????
Been in my man cave removing the tow bar/sissy bar and double seat from my B P O S Back to Billy no mates single seat Bloody bikes filthy so back in there after tea for a good clean and polish whilst listening to planet rock Oh yeah nearly forgot I ordered some Avon tyres for it today Roadrider front and Cobra rear Gonna get a chain and sprocket set when funds allow so will hold off getting the tyres fitted until they come and do it all together
Did a run to visit the mech from work in the hospital. He looks good and we had a laugh. Foggy and wet most of the way. Bike was faultless as usual, I keep meaning to post a thread about all the problems I dont have (if you follow me) The Positive Side sub title Enjoy the Good Times
After meeting crispey and his brother at loomies, met up with my mate in Salisbury to go price up a job in Poole. Not much of a job but managed to catch the last bike night of the year. Good fish and chips too
