Afternoon, I'm about to buy a 2016 street triple, very low mileage, it has a few bits and bats on but still has the stock mirrors. I can have them changed by the dealer before I have the bike delivered, any thoughts please? are the stock OK or should I get them changed. I have a little concern that the bar ends might make it a wide to run out of the garage single doorway to the back yard where I will clean the bike.

    Hi Avinarant

    Stock mirrors are pants!
3 pistons do a very smart pair bar end mirrors for around £70.00.
I have fitted these and they are great :)
Triumph ones are £85.00 each if money is no problem.

Thanks Mark, seems to be the thread. I think I'm being quoted £170 for the pair by Triumph.

My Girlfriend had the triumph bar end mirrors on her 2016 Street Triple and could not get on with them. She went back to standard mirrors. The bar end mirrors really windend the bike somewhat and stopped her getting it through her garden gate. Unfortunately, she scrapped them very slightly, but I think she is still going to sell them if she can.

I use a cheap round eBay foldable one on the end of my right handlebar and it works perfectly, looks great and cost the princely sum of twelve pounds delivered!

Been thinking about bar ends for my street twin; can you post the URL. At £12 I might invest just to see how I go on with them. If they work, will maybe upgrade them for a better set.

Here's how it looks although my one is a little battered!
Hopefully I have managed to add the images properly!

The last image just indicates that you can flip the original mirror mount to make it look a little tidier.
It was a while ago when I purchased the mirror, I will post the URL if it's still there but there are tons of them that are adsactly the same on eBay!

Going through the eBay app I couldn't locate the URL but here's a picture of the page, just search for round motorcycle mirrors on eBay.

What do you all use for filling in the holes the original mirrors are fitted to?
I have a single bar end mirror on mine but dislike the holes its left on the bars.

Left hand mirror I just flipped the mount so that it sits under the bar nothing in it as you can see in one of the pictures, right hand side the original bolt but packed out with some black plastic tube that I magivered from something else.
