So I was wondering if anybody else had also been cack-handed enough to knock the fuel filler baffle into the tank whilst filling up? If so, did you leave it or try to retrieve it? Can it cause any issues if left?
Not sure how the fuel gauge gets its information, i.e. Is it a float that rises and falls with the fuel level, if it is it could snag the filler baffle. I think I'd be trying to get it out.
