Hi, I just got my Thunderbird 900 2003 on the weekend - really would like an owners manual or photocopy or scan - otherwise its £46 to buy one and thats big money when I need a new battery too. Can anyone guide me to somewhere to get a copy please ? Bruce
Thanks Mick - my wife had a bonneville and I had a harley - but the harley's gone and I'm enjoying the Thunderbird. Just need to get a manual and a centre stand !!!
With it being a 2003 you should be able to get the pages you want off the internet in dribs and drabs. Generally clicking on one page will lead you to several others. In addition to that there are loads of clips on YouTube, some a lot better than others. I've used Delboy Youtube clips a lot for my Bonnie.
cheers Mick I'll take a look - I have the workshop manual as a free download and most stuff will be in there but its a huge manual covering various models - the owners book would be handy Bruce
Hi Bruce Welcome aboard, nice place to while away the odd hour or three Have a little look here.... http://www.triumphriders.nl/FoldersPDF/Daytona_900-1200_(1993-1997)_Service_Manual_(eng).pdf you might find it useful for some basic tasks. Ride safe. TBB
Hi Dozers Dad thanks - I guess your right - at £46 for a new one I can buy my new battery - was just hoping I could get a manual for the sake of having it - having last owned a bike 12 years ago I can remember which way to face and how to go and stop so thats a start !! When I first rode it Saturday it was like getting back on a bike !! Fantastic !! Very best wishes Bruce
