This is my latest Triumph, (hated the speedy).
Its completely standard at the moment but have big plans.
Tec tail tidy, new indicators,Tec or YSS rear shocks, Tec 2-2 short exhaust or cocktail shakers maybe, footpegs, maybe flatter bars?? Ai deletion, K&N Air filter, remaps as required, get rid of the screen, maybe change the colour, would like wire wheels.
So maybe should have bought a wire wheeled street twin, scrambler or thruxton or something else instead I hear you cry. LOL.
Oh well, it was cheap for an 11 plate SE, so will spend the savings on "modifications".
Ill try and keep you updated.

It's a smart looking bike and I like the colour.
    Fit a centre stand.
Remove the fork stone protectors and fit fork gaiters.
It's to be hoped you have got it for the right price because your list of mods is not going to be cheap.

It already has the centre stand mick. The fork gaiters are a good idea (add to basket). The cost will be spread out over the next few months so might be finished in time for next summer. Lol. At least it'll be rideable up til then.

I put cocktail shakers on my speedmaster, transformed the sound. Not sure about the colour yet as it has shiny engine casings.

    Lovely looking bike Dazza.
You'll probably find you want to upgrade to progressive springs at the front once you've changed the rear shocks,
so you could fit the fork gaiters at the same time.
It then highlights the rock hard seat, but all in all the Bonnies are a great all round bike.
I also fitted a Scottoiler on mine, brilliant investment saving maintenance and sprocket and chain wear.
Have fun modyfing and riding it mate.

These bonnevilles are funny bikes to upgrade. My GSXR for instance, I was always spending money trying to get it to go faster and do more tricks etc, the Bonnie is a different matter, I find myself spending and upgrading not only because at the moment I have to i:e suspension but also because its a great bike to make yours, individual if that's possible. I guess no matter what you have done someone has done it as its that sort of bike but god what fun. I'm a new Triumph owner but find myself constantly on the look out for the next thing to buy, exhaust is very high on my list but may have to wait a few weeks as I'm off to Crete this weekend. I have already worked out if I can get my wife on water and me on squash I can save the Euro's toward the exhaust... :grinning: Enjoy your time on the bike, I look forward to seeing some pictures of your upgrade journey with your bike. :)

Ok, carried out the tail tidy and TEC rear shock replacement. Pleased with the result so far but it definitely requires new exhausts. The Tec sprint 2-2 are out of stock for 5 weeks so may need to rethink that???
Starting to get to the look I'm after, but would really like some black wire wheels and Matt black engine and sprocket covers. I suspect the speedmaster ones will fit?
Also will get a shorter front mudguard.
I took Micks advise and bought the progressive front springs but forgot to order the gaiters, so that's a job for next week now.
I'll try and post the progression of its transformation if people are still interested. Lol
Off to try and find another exhaust solution now.

Looking better already mate. If your handy, remove the baffles from standard silencer and save some (lots of) money. I made a lay-flat gauge for the tacho/speedo from sheet aluminium (easy-peasy job) and relocated the ignition there. Then lowered the headlight, I found that looked lots better.
What kind of screen did you have, as I am looking for a touring one.at present and would maybe be interested if you're selling it.

Hi, I am changing the exhausts to the TEC 2-2 Sprints. I considered drilling out the baffles, but its not just the sound of the original pipes that I want to change, but the look. I dont like the way they look, they are too long and low. the sprints are shorter with a kick up at the end. I wanted a pipe either side as I like symetry...... perhaps i have OCD??
I will keep the screen for now as I want to get out and put some miles on it, and in my experience a screen is worth its weight in gold on the motorways.

I chose the exact same (TEC 2-2) silencers for mine, but was very disappointed with the weld quality on them and sent them back. I looked at every other pipe out there before butchering mine, but I like doing things like that (butchering) to my bikes, and am very pleased with the sound.
You will find that a simple fly-screen (I have the Dart one) will be enough to take the wind off your chest, even at M/Way speeds, and they look much more "cafe-racer than tall screens.

Just jumping in here chaps re the TEC the 2-2...

I have been trying to get one since last November.
George has kept saying they are on their way even saying don't worry about pre ordering "as we are getting loads" ( think that was the end of April.)
Recently said he had one for me then stopped responding to my emails.

So has anyone got an arrival date for these coming back on sale?
I am getting a bit fed up of being fobbed off all the time.

I have also sourced a chap on the south coast who has said he will make me one so will probably go that way rather than wait forever for the TEC products to come back in stock.

Will post how I get on with having a system made, just got to find a spare day when I can escape the clutches of swmbo and go and get it sorted out.

Jonesie the my pipes are too quiet at the mo

Is that why TEC have an exhaust sale on at the moment - because nothing is in stock!

No Steve if you read their add they are clearing out old stock.

If you try and purchase a 2-2 short exhaust you will find they have no stock.

The tail tidy went in easily and fits well. Mines a 2010 SE. Also fitted a new sprocket cover from LSL, Tec footpegs and rear peg deletion plates.
The only thing i hafd to do was trim the number plate slightly as the indicators i have fitted are shorter than the old ones that came off.
I will get some more photos on shortly.
