Sorry to hear about your pal... but looks like you've had a good day! Making your girl laugh is an important skill, but laughing her into bed is a new one on me! When she lifts the covers up, yes... but not into bed!

If the cops were able to interrogate your phone would they be able to identify that it was blue-tooth connected to another device (hands free kit or whatever), at the time of the incident.

This is a very good question and I did some checking on it:
at least in Germany the feds are NOT allowed to read out your communication data since this would infringe the 'Fernmeldegeheimnis' (secrecy of telecommunications). Only if you are under suspicion of being involved in terroristic activities or similar grave crimes, could a judge order your cell to be analyzed.

@thebiglad : even if they could see you were connected to bluetooth handsfree, this would NOT prove that you did not use the cell in the classic way if someone accuses you, that you did.

So over here, you need an eyewitness to clear this mess.

By the way, I also learned that you'd be allowed to use a walkie talkie since it is not covered by this law...
    ...or a shaver...

The deeper you dig into it, the more you find out how complex and strange this problem gets when it comes to accidents.

I'm still learning to keep my mobile with me Jez, let alone complications of in-car use :cold_sweat::worried::confused::confused::confused:
