OK GUYS...HELP! So my new fairing came in today and I was pumped...until I tried to get the mirrors off of the broken top portion of the old fairing. I can't tell if it's 11mm or 3/8 because I can't get the socket in there to get the nut off. I don't know what tool I can use that is small enough to get in there. There are two bolts...one is kind of sticking out (but not far enough as you can see) and the other is way down inside and there is no way my big fat socket is going to get it out. Does anyone know what I can use??

.......and it will be metric but you could use a Vernier caliper to verify 11mm ...if you have one.

Thank you! I finally figured it out and had some thin wall sockets overnighted from Amazon. I got the mirrors off but decided to ship it to the shop for a diagnosis. It's a steep one! $1300 USD to get it all fixed and whole bike repainted. $750 to do the front and side, or $500 to get the front done to make it driveable and still look decent. Gonna have to opt for the $500 for now and go from there :(

    Hi Celeste!

I welcome you warmly in the name of all the Germans with a sense of humor, who are not on this forum.

If anything I might say, sounds cryptical to you. Just pay no attention and smile indulgently...

    Cheers!
    :)
