Howdy guys, I'm having another go at bikes after giving up the third time about 9 years ago. I just bought a 96 900 trophy, for my sins, just cheap but in pretty good nick for an old girl. I'm in Sunderland and happy to get out for a ride most weekends even in the winter but I've got a serious allergy to pain and falling off, so avoin rain as bes I can lol. Must go to work, will add more later and get a good look around.
    Dale.

Back to biking for the third time? Why do you keep leaving?

Ah well another days toil over lol.
Thanks for the replies, I left the first time as I was young and daft and got caught in 1982 going 172mph on a gpz1100 with yoshi kit and a fist full of mods, I got a 18month ban and a huge lump of fine so I went back to my unit in Germany and never told the army who just didn't ask so I never mentioned and still drove in Germany on a permit. Long time ago now.
I had another go in the late 80s/90s but kids n wives etc ate all the money. Then I had a bash again back in 2004 and had a few nice rides over a few years until I came off and although not hurt bad they found a big growth on my bowel and I had a spell of being quite ill. Bike saved my life though, but just never got back into it as my brother got killed on his bike and it put me off a bit.
I've only come back again because a couple of my mates have just got bikes and my other brother has talked me into it.
I went out and bought this last week and I'm now hooked again

Hi Dale, welcome to the forum and back to biking. The bike looks sweet - I do like Triumph's earlier stuff. Hope you're a stayer this time. There's a really decent bunch of folks not too far away from you: Tyne Phoenix MCC Give them a shout...
