No, not for me, I can see the funny side of most things but not that with what has been going on round the world.
^^^ sorry lads. I didn't mean to upset anyone. I knew it wasn't real and it was like watching a funny movie. But I was thinking along the line.....imagine someone pulls that stunt as a prank here in UK. I mean you are talking about terrorism charges. I don't think the law will see the funny side of it.
What I would have found funny was if somebody had shot the twat and his f***ing camera man. Bad taste in my opinion.
Yep, thinking the same, just takes one of those victims to pull a gun and the @r$hole is toast and it would have been justifiable manslaughter.
Stateside he would likely at worst be arrested or at best terminated. That said, I like gallows humor and having experienced first hand a "hello" from an organization with bad intent; I think it healthy to laugh in the face of crazy that we live with in today's world. This terrorism stuff is on the long list of things I personally can not control and it is all luck or the lack of it that puts us in harms way. Laugh or worry - I choose to laugh. Admittedly you Brits have suffered with this bombing stuff since, "The Troubles" and more recently with the radicalized Islam movement and I have great empathy for any one of you living with that immediate concern.
Quite a lot of those situations and reactions looked a bit too staged to me. Can see the humorous intent and sometimes we do need to poke fun at people we despise to show we're not afraid of them but each to their own in terms of timing.
Yeah, I'm with the "poor taste" brigade. Gallows humour I get, but some things are beyond it. This is one. Atb Bob
I bet those PEOPLE, kids, because thats what they were, blown to bits or horrifically injured last Monday evening will find it hilarious! Along with the poor sods who had to attend it and clear it up , along with all those who will be traumatized for life after seeing the out come will be too. Posted at the wrong time, also not a 'hilarious' subject any way. I sincerely wish all the best for their futures and hope they get the best help & support for the rest of their lives and not forgotten with time, they will need it, as so often happens. And I hope no more sick 'jokes' like that appear on this forum. Terry
Hi Terry, I completely agree. Poor taste, terrible timing - just not what this forum is about in my book. Ripping the piss out of fellow members, now that's fair game
All I said was that the responses speak for themselves. I didn't say all the responses were against this video.
This thread has been rekindled due to the Manchester atrocity. I had my say on it back in January and have nothing else to add other than I dont think for one minute any forum members have had any malicious intent.
Steady on with all this "timing wasn't great" nonsense.. this was posted months ago, I'm sure 1000 r meant no harm by it at all and probably wouldn't have posted it this week.
