View attachment 1813 Same as it is every sodding day but you will be on a bike so whats it matter? Fucktard! View attachment 1812
The other two have big, fuck-off panniers, that's what. (I remember Keith jamming himself between a bus and a taxi in Edinburgh a few years ago!)
Fair comment! It was quite funny - I had a Blackbird at the time, with 50 litre Givi panniers so I didn't even bother trying filtering - I just took to the pavement. Keith was keeping pace with me then all of a sudden stopped!
I had a Blackbird too.... View attachment 1816 Ooooops, wrong Blackbird. Try again.... View attachment 1814
Ok most probally the last night I will go to Alton but there were some interesting bikes to have a squiz at.
Tried to clean the speedy. Just got back from the UK. Great trip, fantastic roads, but dirty bike. Anybody got some tips to get the wheels clean again????? Muck off just doesnt get deep enough. Been told that people spray wd40all over after its clean??? Why?? it gives a crap finish.... Must admit, being back in Esbjerg, Danmark is a bit boring. I really miss the UK roads...... This is part of the A 82. Had a great day. Muir of Ord down to Uplawmoor.
Nipped up Stirling Castle with youngest daughter then back Bishopbriggs via Drymen, quick pint Carbeth Inn killed couple hours result!
Had a ride to Southport last night, Absolutely loved going down coast road, then opening up my speed four on way back. Got lost on way back also, Missed my turn off, Was a great experience. Planning on riding to St Asaph , Wales at weekend, Does anyone know of any cafe's where I can park bike and call for a brew?:upyeah:
Took the America for its M.O.T this morning as it had ran out last month. PASSED with no advisories even with the slash cut TORS exhausts fitted... Happy days!
Thought it would be rude not to take the bike out for a little jolly seems as it's all legal again. Went over to Warwickshire & then back on the A5. Didn't see many bikes about considering the nice weather.
I had a ride out to St Asaph in north wales yesterday, in preparation for next weeks Bike safe course. 130 miles round trip, That's the longest I've ridden so far, Was a good experience without too much rain. Looking forward to the course now.:upyeah:
Had a ride to Cheddar Gorge on my speed triple. Weather was great:smile: and the roads were fairly quiet:wink: I went via the A3072 Crediton to Bickleigh and the B3227 to Taunton great biking roads. Took a few pics at Cheddar The pic of me next to the bike made me laugh because i look weird i blame the angle and the phone. The last pic was taken on dartmoor on the way home was a lovely evening, got bloody cold though.
Just got back from Bikesafe in North Wales, Really great day out, Was very informative and the instructors/assessor's were very patient with me and offered some sound advice, Best £10 I've ever spent, Met some really nice people. You even get a Bikesafe pack with 1 book alone costing a tenner, If you're thinking about doing one, its well worth it. :upyeah:
I did the same and completely agree with Ren, £10 for a great course and a good ride out on the bike well worth it. Good to put a few faces to names too
Really glad you had a blast, K, shame we passed like ships in the night! Just got back from the borin' old Alps, myself... :upyeah:
