    Hello guys,

I have a Speed Triple 1050 from 2011 and when I put the key and turn it on, the immobiliser light stays on (light with a bell. Bottom right corner) and bike wont start! Eventualy, after switching on/off some times, the light will go off and the bike will start, but its a total pain and im afraid it will eventualy not start at all....

Did domoane have something like this? any advice? Some guy told me their triumph dealer replaced several parts like the ignition lock and keys or even maybe the immobiliser itself...but I realy wanted to avoid that....

    Thanks

can we assume you have the datatool alarm fitted ?
if so this is a common problem and alarm is on a recall. ive a 2016 speed and its on its third alarm. same issues as yours

Yep... check the recall number. It's a common fault

I bought the bike used, some years ago, and as far as I know there is no alarm installed.
However I'll check this and see whats up.
Thank you guys for the help
