    Hello,
I' m living in Red Feather Lakes, Colorado a little mountain town about an hour Northwest of Fort Collins. After ordering months ago I finally got to pick it up. I regret to say I have only ridden it an hour home from the dealer, just beating a storm (which has since left a foot of snow, and its still coming down, ug.) I am following the break in rules to a T, which is killing me, but as of today, I have not been above 3500 rpms, but my god it wants to go so bad. I am blown away at how light this thing feels. This is the smoothest motor/ transmission / quickshifter combo I have ever experienced, I have only ridden it at low RPMs. I was worried about the tight suspension I heard about, I don't feel it is rough at all and I have yet to tune it for my weight, (or mess with any of the adjustments at all) and I am only 165 lb/180ish with gear. I did feel it was very planted and very easy to hold corners. The snow did allow me to add some protection in the form of axle sliders and engine sliders, and let me do a few little things I couldn't wait to do like hide the horn and flip the mirrors. I am still waiting on the windscreens and the exhaust hanger (notice right passenger footpeg is still attached). But seriously... I need the snow to stop!!! Garage.jpg st12.jpg

Congrats! Definitely get the sag settings adjusted for your weight. That can make a world of difference. Hopefully the snow stops soon, as you might need therapy otherwise ;).

Congratulations! Hopefully the weather improves soon.

How did you hide the horn and can you see anything in the mirrors when they are upside down?

I ordered mine on 8th Feb and I’m still waiting, but hopefully it’s imminent!! I also went for the fly screen and rear foot peg delete.

Excellent! A quick question if I may?
If you order a foot peg delete, do you get them in a bag in case you change your mind?

Good question! I did ask the dealer at the time and you’ve reminded that I never got an answer. I’ll ask again...

Lovely bike, and the choice between the two colours is tough as they both look great.

I was choosing between getting this one or the Tuono, went for the Tuono (mostly due to the lack of decent dealers nearby). But I love the "naked" look on this bike. It actually looks good without a flyscreen.

Getting rid of the passenger pegs is the first thing I always do.
    Planning on any other accessorizes?

Just take them off yourself and either buy blanking plates to cover the holes or put some shorter chrome or plated bolts in. Put the pegs back on when it’s time to sell.

But it seems like the passenger pegs also hold the end can (just like the Tuono) so you need the exhaust hanger.

Congrats on that new Speed Triple, @Levertoon! Hopefully your weather changes for the better soon so you can get out on the roads with that beauty. I'm looking forward to more photos and to your thoughts about the bike as you ride it more. I have a 2019 Speed Triple RS and am curious about this new version.
