As is typical of your rideout threads, @Dougie D, absolutely spectacular photos! Thanks for taking the time to snap and post them plus a bit about your ride to Glencoe. :) I shall have to look on a map to see where you were.

Isn't it amazing how everything--even getting a hot chocolate--is an adventure on a motorcycle?! :grinning::heart:

Been too long since I was last at Glencoe, stayed at the Kingy for a night before heading further north.

Will have to try and get up there sometime next year.

Cheers Pedro, I'll make sure to say hi to Maria the next time I'm passing, I've stopped off at the Onich Hotel several times over the years sitting out the back with my coffee admiring the lovely views, the two Scotland tours that i organized for some forum members a few years back we actually stayed just a couple of miles away from the Onich hotel ( Corran Bunkhouse) i notice they have a few holiday pods overlooking the Loch now, that would be a great place to stay if doing a tour

Super snaps. Went through that area last September on the bike. Glorious scenery but the weather was vicious. In Glen Coe a small car up ahead of us had been blown off the road onto it's roof! Scotland proved a real test of our waterproof gear, which by and large wasn't. Despite that we loved the place.
