    Just bought a 3t!
    now the guy who owned it before wrote on it "Triumph Tiger 85 1948 350 " according to the web the Tiger 85 was never built ( bikes is in Australia )

    That is a really nice bike

    There is always a difference between UK and Australian and New Zealand models as it took about a year for the things to get out there also post war some bikes were old models or military bikes so it was always hard to tell what model they actually were and there was also a few that were made up from bits of different models.

    I remember seeing the chassis and engine of a pre war Triumph Vee twin that are very rare out of Christchurch many years ago.

    So is the collar on the Dog to stop it biting the tyres then :wink:

    She has been in storage since 2002, I drained the oil and fuel, striped and cleaned the carb couldn't believe it started after a few kicks
    Good thing it's all there just needs a bit of love good polish a few things need re chroming
    Would you advise getting the bits already on her to be re chromed or get new ?

    Does anyone know what a T stamped on the top front of the crank case means ?
