Hi All - I've haven't yet had the opportunity to start up and ride my Tiger 1200 XRX which arrived on November 30th. As my garage is nowhere near any mains supply, I will need to remove the battery and bring it indoors to connect to my Optimate charger. but the dealer has told me that removing the battery will 'light the engine management light'. Advice needed please - thanks in advance. David
He's probably right - you'd have to hope so - but, AFAIK the EML for this condition will be automatically reset after three startup and run to operating temperature.
