Hello everyone not long had my tiger 900 on a V reg/2000 I’ve plugged it in today to find it’s actually running the map from an early 955i TOR can map and not the 885i TOR can map. Anyone else experienced this at all? I would of thought it would make a difference but I’m just posing the question to everyone to see if anyone has any theories? TIA all the best
There are several threads about mapping. A cheap eBay wired ODB device, free software and a search for your original map settings will have that fixed quickly.
Hi yeah I’ve been researching. Already got TuneEcu and a Lonelec OBD2 lead. Was merely a question out of curiosity. Wanted to know if there was a reason at some point this would be done. cheers
The 885's were all carbureted ! So I don't understand where you get the idea 885 for map ? Someone may have made their own map and called it that ?? Don't know more than that ! Sorry that information won't help too much , but it'll save you looking for 885 maps at least.
tiger 900’s from 1999-2000 we’re 885i engines. Same as the steamer but fuel injected Instead of carbs.
Just as an update it’s been mapped 12 times previously. I’ve also got a P0135 error code. I’ve read somewhere that this can be caused by a weak battery. So would it be likely that when I bought the tiger I was told it’s had a new battery and the old one has caused the code, but subsequently not been cleared?
