Why Triumph, why the hell did you organize the wiring from the ignition switch to chaff on the steering head ? And why have the main wiring to the headlight get crushed against the steering head by the front brake line ???????? At NZD$25:00 per hour, you owe me an ignition pickup, a set of coils and spark plugs ..OK !!! .... (and a hair transplant) !!!!!!
I am due to change my blinker fluid shortly. Can anyone tell me if they are right and left specific? It would save a lot of hassle to know in advance
Oh, he was around long before that! He was Genghis Khan! Probably the worst bit of casting in the history of film making.
I can confirm that left and right blinker fluids are interchangeable, however one can only exchange front left for rear right and front right for rear left. If this isn’t followed very carefully the blinkers can flash in the wrong order IE on when they should off and off when they should be on. Hope this is helpful in your quest to change your blinker fluid. Can you let me know if the blinkers need bleeding after the change of fluid?
You ever had the fun of changing the air filter on a 900 Legend (and presumably Thunderbird and Adventurer)...
Yes and not even for me, tank off, carbs off, snorkel box off filter box apart and then a bitch from the customer for 1 hour labour for a £20 filter-i told him to take it to a triumph dealer next time then come back and apologise
On my Vics the fuel pump and filter were in the fuel tank, and apparently just flopping around in there. Every time I hit a bump there was this loud, disconcerting "KLACK" noise. Thought there was an issue until I was told this was "normal." Never caused a problem, just a bit of worry until I learned what was going on.
