Hi, just a quick question: are the wire wheels from a Bonnie same as a Thruxton?

From what I've noticed the Bonneville are heavier steel ones as the thruxton are alloy rimmed.

Thanks, which bring me to the next part of the question: I have a project which involves a particular plating on the wheels. Problem is I have the alloy ones, which can't be plated. I know I could anodise them but that would be cheating. I need to part ex with a willing donor  so if anyone is interested I'm open to consideration. Wheels are perfect and if you're in London I'll even do the swap of the bikes and tires for you
