Fiddling with the bonne (can't help it) came across this; Is it a scott oiler or similar can't seem to blow through the pipe part And this is on the axle Anyone know?
Cheers DD I found this looks like it http://bonniecafe.com/bonnie-mod-21-scottoiler-v-system-auto-chain-lubricator/ Just need to know where to connect the pipe I need to replace once I remove the remains of the scott oiler more investigating great fun
Hi Rocker as Jez says you've got the vacuum take-off and the rear injector support bracket but the reservoir and the supply pipe from the reservoir to the rear sprocket appear to be missing.
Exactly what they did why wouldn't you take the whole thing off it's useless to them having half of it!!! Found a pipe dangling and held with cable tie very suspicious so I've attached it to the vacuum take off hope thats it sorted. Thanks for the advice much appreciated
Hi Rocker, Having fitted a Scottoiler on my Bonnie 12 months ago, I can tell you exactly what the bits are for. The vacuum pipe coming from the 'carb' body plugs into the top of the Scottoiler. There is a 90 degree brass elbow pipe on the carb which has a rubber blanking plug fitted as standard, so if you are removing the pipe make sure you plug the brass pipe hole. The aluminium bracket on the spindle holds the nib for directing oil onto the sprocket, if you are not refitting the Scottoiler just remove that. Personally I would contact Scottoiler and buy the missing main body and fit the twin feed to either side of the sprocket, which negates the aluminium bracket currently fitted on your spindle. Said it before on here, I swear by the Scottoiler on my Bonnie, the twin feed will make it even better.
