    Usually its a lights on and off in another country where we have ours on by default...

    Ahhh. Thanks. That makes sense. And here I thought it was for some wizzy bang accessory that could scroll through the dash settings without taking your hand off the bar.

    On earlier Triumphs , say 90's to early 00's there was a blank space on the right switch block area , this was definitely a headlight's on / off switch ! My 94" Trident had this blank space ! I filled it with a switch ! Enabled me to turn headlight's on or off , in the day's before electronic relays/ECU's turning them off when starter system was engaged, this helped me stop the dreaded sprag clutch failure !!!
