    headed up again to Welshpool and the Welsh National Rally this past BH weekend. 600+ miles in 3 days - no probs on the blue Steamer. More than 350 bikes taking part - didn't see another Steamer but plenty of newer Tigers etc. Were you there?

    Fantastic roads all through Wales - from Colwyn Bay to Chepstow, far better condition and riding experience than English roads. Snow on the tops on Saturday but bright and breezy all day. Excellent.

    Nice looking ride. What year model? The twin headlight and fairing is one of my favorite looks for this bike. Don’t care for some of the newer bug eye models.

    It's a '94 - with slightly extended screen, but otherwise stock.
    It's had the obligatory carb rebuild and air filter replacement and could maybe do with slightly higher gearing for comfortable 70 mph cruising but it rides really well and I love the "stare" looks - especially with yellow headlamps.
