Not wanting to watch the bloody wedding tomorrow, was just wondering if there's a ride out somewhere in the N. London/Herts/Essex area I could escape to ?
Wonder if the roads will be as empty as when charles and diana were hitched, managed to go for miles without seeing anyone back then.
Well you have the wedding followed by the FA Cup Final & supporters of both team are South based so roads probs gonna be quiet?
Back then I was living in the UK near Coventry (there was a good reason why I moved to Canada). I remember riding out near lilbourne and clay coton and having the roads all to myself.
There is a steam train running from Liverpool to Scarborough via Manchester Victoria, Sheffield, Pontefract and York tomorrow if that floats yer boat!
What with the wedding and football today, TV and newspapers will be write off. So bloody boring. If I had a cellar I’d go sit in it till Monday. Might take Goldy the VStrom out for a spin just to dull the pain.
Not riding today, maybe tomorrow but friends are coming round for a bite to eat then the lads will play cards.
