Just bought some triumph bullet indicators for my scrambler 1200, they are US spec will they work? INDICATOR KIT A9838036

Scrambled Head. US spec don't they have slightly different colour to the UK. If so they will be illegal. But any unit will work as it the flasher unit doing the work not the unit. Think they need to 12v 21w to be correct. Regards Joe.
Yes they will work. Different states have different regulations but none specify the use of indicators as daylight running lights (unlike the Japanese). If they did there would be an extra wire. The lens colour in some states is specified as amber, others don't seem to care, so I would guess all oem lenses are amber.

At least in my part of the US [California] we have nothing like a MOT. No smog inspection on motorcycles. They have a lot of laws on the books but motorcycles are pretty much ignored unless you get ridiculously illegal. My 2002 is lightly modified and I run a yellow headlight for safety. Nobody pays it any unwanted attention. These are the US spec. indicators it came with. ...J.D.
