When I switch either the right or left, both turn signals come on very dimly. I have traced the wiring through and have not found any problems, I have also cleaned the connections for a possible grounding problem. Any and all replies would be appreciated. This is a BIG PITA......

Not pretending to be an expert, but that definitely sounds like an earthing problem to me. Or a faulty indicator relay.

I think biglad's probably right - sounds like a dodgy relay or poor earth.

Found it. As you Brits might say "It's Bad Earth." As soon as I touched a wrench to the turn signal arm and the forks, like magic the turn signals operated perfectly. A short wire from the bolt holding the head light support to the forks, and then connecting the other end to the inside bolt of the turn signal arm and the problem is solved..... Now if I can only figure out why the turn signal indicator doesn't work with the new harness all my problems have been solved and yes I did check the bulb.
