Best wishes for 2025!! Is it possible to retrieve one's bike's own current map to view / save / store / modify it? I other words I want to connect via dongle to TuneEcu and pull up my bike's current map.... Is this possible and if so, how?? Regards!
yes it is. Depending on your bike. Without looking I seem to remember once connected, under ECU in the menus, you can read the current map and then download it, or maybe just download. I think this will only happen if you have the stand alone tunecu programme and not one tied to a map.
If your current ECU map is up to date, then an identical one can be downloaded using the App which you can then modify as you see fit and download to the bike as well as save the map on your phone/tablet.
Yes you can see what map is currently installed using Tunecu as I did on my 765, but I can't comment any further as I've not needed to explore or change.
It depends on the year of your machine, the latest models are hard to crack the EMU, Woolich Racing have recently managed to develop a map for the new Street Triple 765rs, I fitted a Rapid Bike Evo Module, whilst this does vastly improve the fuelling and throttle response and am pleased with the improvements, however after further machine improvements I am having my bike set up using the Woolich Racing map, set up on the rolling road, I plan this in early March, and will post the before and after graphs on the forum when completed.
