    The response of the owner to have the bike enshrined in Milwaukee is the most Japanese thing I've heard in a long time. Those folks can be the most polite and selfless people you'll ever encounter, to say nothing of the most spiritual.

    This is truly an amazing story. Thanks for sharing the video, Iron. Mr. Sandi and I saw this bike and exhibit when we were at the Harley-Davidson Museum in October of 2019. What astounded me was how the bike was so encrusted with coral and clearly had spent a lot of time in the ocean but was still almost regal...a survivor. It was a very moving exhibit.

    A Very very humbling story. An amazing gift by the original owner and fair play to HD for offering him a replacement bike.
