Hi, just joined a couple of days ago. Got some good advise. My problem is the top end of my engine is dead. Was told to look for a complete engine. I was told that the tiger, trident and daytona will fit but can't find any local.ive tried some local breakers no luck yet. So does any one know anyone local with an engine.
    Cheers

www.triumph-ant.co.uk or National Triumph which is an ebay shop based in Wolverhampton run by a bloke called Ivan. Either or both may be useful.

Well still looking for an engine. I did speak to a guy that can do a reconditioned one for me but it's £1200 plus p&p but I'll give it another few weeks to see if I can find a second-hand one and if no luck then it's £1200 odd so fingers crossed

For £1200 you could buy a whole bike which is a half decent runner!

I was once chatting with Ivan re used engines and asked about good used engines. He said he had 15 but whether they ere GOOD he said there is no such thing but if you were unhappy he would exchange it.
Re reconditioned i've seen all sorts of rubbish. Mismatched rods other dodgy internals and re used head gaskets a hole hodge podge of parts thrown together.
