Welcome Norm. To long term members: What's the convention here about welcoming new members here? Is this done by subscribers - or can anybody join in - not sure what to do? (That is, don't want to piss off long term members due to being a new member myself prematurely welcoming new peeps but on the other hand, don't wish to be seen to be 'unwelcoming' to new members)
You'll have to work hard to piss anyone off in here mate People have disagreements from time to time but generally it is short lived Welcoming people just makes it a place they might want to stay and contribute
Yes, thanks Helmut......just wondered coz on a previous 'Do you prefer piebald horses forum', I welcomed a newcomer by saying 'Come on in, you snot dribbling cretin' and the forum administrative self abuser sent me to pick flints for a month..........
