9th June 2013.... http://www.ace-cafe-london.com/event_view.aspx?event_id=656&date=09/06/2013 00:00:00 http://www.ace-cafe-london.com/events.aspx?view2=list&date2=01/06/2013 00:00:00&m=06&y=2013
I'd really fancy going to the Ace, but don't fancy the 2 hour schlep down the M1. Unless anyone out there knows a scenic route to the smoke from the E. Midlands?
Faced with 2 hrs on the M1 or 3.5 hrs on the A5 from Derby i think i would go for the boring M1 mate
& back again! Back in 2011 there was an 'Ace Cafe' exhibition at Coventry Motor Museum, they had a Triumph day , free entry & parking on the forecourt for TOMCC members. I took a load of pics, there's an album on my f/b page, very good day.
I will have a gander at that later on this evening mate :upyeah: I went to the National Motorcycle Museum in Solihull, West Midlands last year. Good day out looking at all those old British machines, they do a lovely roast dinner upstairs in the restaurant too.
Come on guys??? 3.5 hours on any A road over a motorway any day.... It's like life... It's not just about where you end up but the journey you take to get there..... :upyeah:
Think I might be inclined to make a weekend of it & stay overnight in Town, rather than punish me piles with 7 hours in the saddle.
i'll go.. May be the only chance i get to see you northerners... :upyeah: me being from Sunny Kent....
Here Bry....:upyeah: Nottingham mate, I would head out through Peak District, onto stoke and out to the welsh boarder, we have an awesome route we do from here through to Betws y Coed, probably pick that up to the boarder. I too am one of these strange folk that enjoy the ride.. :upyeah:
