    hi,alarm worrys, starting motor dead,checked all switches, battery and fuses. alarm is dead,no light flashing plus, nought when fob pressed,think it is fitted with a datatool 2 alarm,any help would be great.

    new member here. First thing to do from looking on other forums is remove the alarm, most people think they cause problems. make sure battery is reading over 12.5 v,any less, forget it, been there done that. Check you havent switched the kill switch of. spray with wd40 all connections to switches. sorry thats all i know

    Always found alarms cause more hassle than they are worth, a Meta one stranded me and my then Bandit at the NEC bike show many years ago.
