Rideout Traipsing Round The North

W^*rking around the north next week and decided not to come home on my days off and take the bike so weds heading from notts to Durham, staying in pub near Chester le street, hopefully going via north York’s moors national park, Friday heading from c l s into borders staying in greenhaugh. sat heading down to Lymm probably nth Pennines Lake District and Yorkshire dales. Anyone want to meet for a cuppa and or recommend some roads that shouldn’t be missed!!

Depending on your route and timing from Nottingham, I could be available to escort you through some of Yorkshire's badlands! Squires Cafe Bar and/or A1 Moto in York could provide refreshment if required. Not too sure what's happening yet on Wednesday (or indeed any other day for that matter - it's an age thing!) but you never know!

and on saturday down to manchester way.
its over 5 hours so a bit of a long haul when stops are added on but as I'm in the area its a shame not to see some of it. hoping to meet @Tiglet at the end of it

 

Nice routes crispy, all you need now is to ‘forget’ a piece of important equipment and go all the way back!

Both north of Beverley with quieter roads - A164 from Humber Bridge (which you may be stuck with!) and A614 (which can be mostly avoided) - and pleasant scenery with subsequent easier access to Bridlington and/or Scarborough and the moors.
Just ideas. Possible meet at Beverley racecourse. Up to you - no pressure as I'm not sure as yet if I can get there. Hopefully so but SWMBO has gone down with something fluey and she has a generous, giving nature.
