    Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am a newbie to the site and to the world of Triumph. I have been ‘sans’ motorbike for a few years after my domestic situation changed and found myself as a single pop. Unfortunately the ‘toys’ had to go.
My last ride being a Yamaha V-Max. I have been a scrimping and a saving for a number of years and have scratched together some pocket money, which I’d like to use to get myself again upon two wheels. I am favouring the Speedmaster and would welcome any advice and suggestions?

Good evening everyone and thank you for the warm welcome.
Dozers Dad: I’m thinking that my budget will afford me the 865.

Have you had a chance to try a couple out yet? The America may be up your street as well. Not sure of the prices though.

Hi Stu and welcome to the forum  Love my Speedmaster, but would recommend a long test ride at 6’/2”

I’ve had a ‘dry hump’ so to speak, having sat on a few models at the local Triumph dealership. I did find the bobber and the Speedmaster most comfortable, certainly meeting my ‘knees in the breeze’ and feet forward sensibilities.
But I note your advice and will seek a good solid ride before I decide.
