I did a Manchester / Loch Ness / Skye trip over 4 days with the 20ltr and it was packed to the max but never moved on the road in 1500 miles. Very good kit and fully waterproof as the Highlands tested for me!!

Ah well the waterproof bit hasn’t been tested, the weather was great and will hopefully stay great for the next couple of days.

Ha thanks. Glad to say journey was uneventful in terms of idiots or mistakes on my part, very unusual!

Yes it definitely makes it more normal to ride when you get the extra rpm.

I think you will find that Exeter is a long way from Norwich! Hope you enjoyed your trip to the driest part of the UK! With idiot drivers, daft traffic management and traffic lights on roundabouts!

Just cleaned mine. Is yours the fault that was displayed on the dash? Read a post about it I think?

The running in mode I meant is in the settings. It makes the Rev counter change colour in relation to what mileage you are at and so changes as the mileage racks up.

Wow good effort. That’s a well loaded up Speedy! It’s my knees and arse that hurt me. Windblast is fine up to a ton then if I crouch down even without extra fly screen it’s fine. It was worse on my Multistrada because of buffeting around the helmet. Speed Triple is rapidly becoming the perfect one up bike. Went out tonight and truly opened it up for the first time. It is a proper fast bike, spins up so fast.

Cheers. Gonna have to stop riding soon as getting to many miles before first service. Triumph say not over 1000 miles and I’m 820 with service booked for a week tomorrow.

1st service carried out today. It was the soonest I could get in so bike was at 950 miles. Apparently Triumph are happy as long as it’s not over 1000.

After that met up with the bloke who bought my old bike and went out for a little run.
