hi there,i took delivery of a 14 plate tiger sport last month.230 miles on the clock at two years old.my previous ride was a much modded vtr1000.a brilliant bike but due to a couple of old injuries it was getting uncomfortable.the sport is a great armchair in comparison.and im throughly enjoying it.the only bug is the suspension.any tips or mods would be greatly apreciated as this seems to be holding back a great bike.i think i can see another winter project coming,
hi,nice bike you bought. I see you had a much modded VTR 1000. To be fair I dont think you will ever get the TS handling like the Honda did. Not saying you cannot improve it a little, but I wonder if that would suffice for you. In the other forums I frequent, the TS gets great reviews, mainly from older guys who dont fit sports bikes any more, perhaps that is the trade off. Sorry I cannot help you
Hi SK and welcome to the funny farm. I've no experience of your particular model of motorbicycle, but, I have a Hagon rear shock on me Trident 900 and had a Nitron rear shock on me Daytona CE 955i when I had it, both being superior to the standard shock(s) as fitted by Triumph. Depends how deep your pockets are really. Is there a suspension setter upperer in your area that could help you? Might be worth enquiring.
ok thanks gents, yes im a perfect example of an older sport bike rider,i was just checking if there were any known mods.the vtr forum had a list of recomended improvements.many thanks.
I don't think there's that many TS owners on this forum. Lots of knowledge on the 1050 Tiger Sport forum(not that I've been checking )
