Tiger Not Starting

Hi all, I have tiger 800xc 2010 which is no longer starting, speedo was just flicking up and down, tried starting but wouldn't fire, new battery fitted and again same fault. Kept starter switch held in and she tried to fire again.

I have noticed that there is none of th usual start up noises from fuel pump etc. Swivel box lubed, side stand down and clutch held in.

Please advise

 

I think you might have answered your question by saying the fuel pump doesn’t se to be working, I would check wether power is getting to that and work back from there. Assuming the engine is turning over every time,

 

Thanks, engine not turning now? Only lights on dash when ignition on are neutral and oil light ?

 

Probably run your battery down now, it doesn’t take much! Give it a good charge up and try again. Have you changed the fuse for the pump?

Thanks, fuse looks good but changed and put new one in, will put bike back together and see what else I can investigate.
Engine management? Ignition?

Your a saint, she's running fuel pump connections took a covering of WD40 and she fired after a few goes. May be a bit of moisture in there not sure, but a big thank you. Bring on the sunny day and maybe an eye on the show rooms for a newer model
