Hi. I have a question about the clutch on my 1966 T20 cub. I had been having difficulty starting my cub and to cut the story short found that the clutch springs had gone way below the advised size they should be.I have now replaced them and now find that when I start the bike, pull the clutch and put he bike into first and then release it, that the bike stalls.I was wondering if that means that I have tightened the springs up to tight or that they need slackening off.I have adjusted the cable.Any help would be appreciated.

Cant quite remember the cubs clutch but to me it sounds like you haven't got the spring tension even which will cause it to grab, go back and adjust the springs while turning the bike over with the clutch in and try and achieve and even rotation.
