I took delivery of my GT pro on Friday At the same time, a hurricane is on the pacific coast, which is provoking constant rain in the area On Saturday I resisted and stayed home due to the constant rain. Sunday I convinced another rider to go out with me, off we went, it was dry when we left but as soon as we exited the city a light rain started and it followed us for 150 kms, sometimes harder, others less so, some fog on the way and very broken asphalt in some areas, while we know the road well, riding with a brand new bike, wet asphalt and bad visibility had me on edge. I had it on rain mode and could feel the traction control intervention even when I was trying my best to be smooth. On the way back it rained harder but stopped soon after, the sun came out, the road dried up and I was finally able to enjoy the twisty road as I expected it Here are a couple of photos when we stopped to admire the view
I had meticulously washed yesterday and it rained a bit during the first part of the ride, then the road had a few streams of muddy water crossing it, a few muddy patches, crossed a larger proper stream, a flooded underpass, landslides over the road but still passable, I'll clean the chain but that's it until the rainy season passes
