Has anyone had any problems with the coolant pipes discolouring on a tiger 800 I have a 2011 bike that when it gets warm the pipes go a green colour
Hi Nigelb Your question is quite common and it's seen on many models, it's due to the type of rubber/plastic hoses which are used on standard models. It's mostly due to the heat and possibly some chemicals that make them look a greenish colour. It wouldn't hurt to use a silicone spray to help them retain the oils or upgrade them to samco hoses.
