I have a question on behalf of my brother in law.

In March he bought himself a brand new Thruxton after riding my T100 and loving it.

At the time I questioned his choice of bike as he minor joint problems all over his body due to a life of sporting excess. Basically his back is buggered, his knees are knackered, his shoulders are shagged and his wrists are......er painful.

Despite all this he went for the Thruxton because it was the one he wanted. Six months down the line and he's only ridden it 343 miles, I checked last week when I made him go out with me. He's always got an excuse and when I finally pinned him down he admitted that the drop bars were hurting his wrists and that I was right, he should have bought a T100 with the more upright riding position.

He wants to know if it's possible to fit raised bars to it easily?

Are the cables long enough or would it be a major job?
