    Hello,

I am lucky enough to have a new Thruxton on order but not lucky enough to have a garage to store it in so am interested in getting a bike cover. Any views on what cover makes most sense?

The Oxford top of the range are very good. I don't know what size you'll need but I use one on my tiger and its great.

I was quite liking the look of this, until I saw their video in the advert o_O. It looks very flimsy in operation and doesn't seem to have any method for holding down the front section once the bike is parked and the cover is closed over it.

To be fair the video does it fuck all favours and I think they are designed to be `attached` to a concrete or solid base with rawl type plugs. I'm still considering one.

Oxford Stormex works and the medium fits my wife's Street Triple. Only issue I've had is that the seam tape starts to deteriorate after about 12+ months. The supplier did change my first one as it seems there was a bad batch that was produced. No concerns so far though with the replacement. I also have the Oxford Protex for my bike and this is working well. It's a stretchy material and so far so good. A garage would be nice though :)
