Today I had a test ride on the Street Scrambler, T120 and the Speed Twin.
They were all great to ride. But the one I though I’d fallen for didn’t come out on top!
I had fallen for the new Speed Twin after seeing it at Jack Lilley’s but after riding all three the T120 is the one for me.
I was surprised at how much I loved it. I really loved it!
The Speed Twin really is amazing though.
(I’m doing this on my phone and have added pics so hope it works)

They're all cracking bikes. I've just put 200 miles on the demo Street Scrambler at Woburn to run it in, and am really taken by the improvements over the earlier model. Same with the new Street Twin. But it's still be the Speed Twin for me over all of them, cuz it ticks all the boxes for me. But I'd be very happy to have a T120 in the garage.

Welcome from sunny California. Just something to think about. The speed twin has tubeless tires which is generally considered safer than tubed tires. That is one reason I selected the street twin over the T100.

You can tell from the three photos which bike has the most comfortable riding position, the Speed Twin seems to put you forward and the riding position looks a bit more cramped. That’s still the bike I would choose out of the three, I just think they look really cool, slightly more contemporary.

Top points by the way for the full Shoreditch hipster look, you’ve even turned up the bottom of your jeans!

Reminded me of a friend (make that acquaintance o_O) who came off a ladder propped up against a pillar on a parquet floor. Ladder feet slid out......wham! The ladder uprights broke the thumbs of each outstretched hand as he tried to break his fall.
He spent weeks vainly searching for toilet assistance dressed in joggers as it was all he could handle but his aim was appalling......until the casts came off his flattened hands.

The Speed is definitely the smaller of the three, and does feel a little more cramped. It suits a short arse like me. I do prefer the riding position of the Streets, but the power delivery of the Speed is soooooooo addictive ... and weirdly I felt less need to ride as briskly on the Speed as I do on my Street, but that could because my Street has a fly screen that allows me to ride at 80-90mph in comfort, whereas at 70mph on the Speed the wind pressure on my chest soon begins to tire my upper arms. I'd put the Thruxton screen on the Speed if (when) I buy one I think.

Hi Holtee and welcome in to the Triumph Asylum - Nursie will be along shortly with your 'meds'.

I agree with your assessment of the 3 bikes you tried. For me the T120 is the best blend of looks performance, handling and price.
