I recently bought a tec tail tidy but found that it does not fit correctly. I was wondering if anyone had bought this item and installed it successfully without having to modify it. If not has anyone had any success with any of the other tail tidies on offer. I really don't want to have to modify it to fit especially at the price they go for
Not bought one myself but have you gone back directly to George at Tec with the issue. He's normally pretty keen to help where there is an problem and put things right.
I bought a tail tidy for my thrux from square deals, not sure what make, that didn't fit,just slightly too large in one area, not too much too make you feel it was totally wrong but enough to make you think you were fitting it wrongly. Phoned em up and it was replaced. They said there were 2 produced with the same part number, or something. Just give em a call and I'm sure they'll sort it.
