Hi all I'm a newby to all this and currently ride an 02 Tbird900. Which is a great bike, only had it for a year and was very surprised at the power that engine can generate, not so good on comers tho. A pleasure to ride except in England when you can never rely on the weather - ugh. In two minds about keeping the bike having been used to a gsx, don't really want a modern bike quite like the simplicity of the older bikes - it's what I'm used too. Anybody had experience of a Sprint or a Trophy before getting a Tbird?

Welcome from another Tbird rider! And I agree, the suspension could do with an upgrade for better handling. Which is readily available from Hagon and others. Please post photos, here's a little bit of mine.

Foreverbikes welcome to the family. The steed will grow on you. And if it is not handling to good ditch the tyres and get some decent rubber on there. But it will never be a sport's bike but they do handle pretty well when you show them who's the boss.
    Regards
    Joe.

Hi FB and welcome to the forum  rubber and suspension will have you handling the twisties. My riding partner slays the corners and has had to remove the peg pins to stop standing the bike up on corners and he’s a hearty lad. Love TBirds

I have a variant of the 900 T-Bird. Mine has 17" wheels and some aftermarket rubber on it. I am not sure how much other differences between it and the standard T'Bird. It is a '00 Legend. I find it great fun on the twisty stuff. ...J.D.

Hi Mate & Welcome to the Forum
I had an older Trident Sprint & it was a great bike, did a lot of 2 up miles on it, the bad points as I remember were it was top heavy and that the sprag clutch was suspect (I had mine replaced with only about 15,000 miles on it).
