Saw this at the NEC Motorcycle Live, it is a training machine that was used for apprentices and qualified mechanics. It took me back to my apprenticeship, I have not seen one for a few years now. I had chance of buying such an engine in the late sixties, as I was saving for my next machine I declined, what can you get for a fiver these days, not a lot. This particular machine was a Police training vehicle (mechanics that is).

Good idea. I might do that to my Speed Triple when I am too old to ride it, probably not long now

A friend has a mounted RC45 crankcase lounge decoration

    Also,
I went to buy a secondhand pair of boots from a local guy and he has a sectioned Roots supercharger in his garage "lounge" area, he has three linked garages :yum

As some one who rode those bikes when they were new, I am sure one of my engines finished up looking like that. But still a triumph rider and proud of it.

Recently I attended a function at Hinkley about the Duplex framed bikes 58-62, which that T110 engine would have been fitted to. On the first floor of the museum there is a Rocket 3 engine that has had the same treatment. Fortunately I know the guy that did it and he was kind enough to give us a tour of the museum with a detailed commentary on most of the exhibits.

I’ve always like those ‘cut away’ exhibits.
