    Hi guys
    Just purchased a 73 t140. To relive the first British bike I owned and loved back in the 80’
    Want to spend happy days in the garage over winter rebuilding
    Not bothered about pristine and genuine
    My bike back in the day was anything but !!
    Looking to junk the air filters and exhaust

    looking at larger Amals Bigger bore 2 into 1 exhaust system and gas flowed head. Electronic ignition system and a twin disc conversion. so if anyone can give me some advice as it’s been a good 40 years since I had one rebuilding in my bedroom
    Looking for carb jet advice and shit loads of other stuff as I delve deeper

    Not had any experience with T140's as i tend to go with the earlier bikes but a strong bottom end, rods/pistons and cams are the starting point to spend money on.

    early T140s benefit ftom altering the cam timing. they were detuned somewhat and the changes can be made with the stock cams, aiui
