Back in the day there was a weekly issue of magazines coving the super bikes of the day. These were collected by me and put into volumes. I’ve been going through my garage and came across them and wondered if anybody on the forum would like to have them. I don’t want anything for them and would love to see them go to a good home. If you live in the north west (I’m in Winsford) and you want them let me know. I would be happy to ride out for cira 100 miles to hand them over if you live a bit further away. If nobody is interested I will dump them.
@Wessa If I were a little closer. If you don't part with them can't you donate them to a charity shop or church sale
A bit of a niche market with these and similar publications. I still have some bound volumes of the "On Four Wheels" serial magazine from the early-mid 1970's which I used to buy while still at school as I was a car nut back then and had little interest in powered 2 wheelers.. I thought about selling them but after a bit of research discovered they are of very low value. Collectors aside, I don't think people buy mags like they used to, me included! I also have 2-3 years worth of What Car magazine from the mid 70's gathering dust in the loft. They're all just relics of a bygone (happier?) pre-internet age.
Yep agreed. These have been in the garage for years. I wasn’t really interested in selling them hence the offer to anybody who may want them.
