I am sure if anyone knows,Wayne will.
Just checked it out on ebay, never heard of one before, looks a good bit of kit and it does say it is for your bike, assuming it is a Thunderbird triple from 1995 to around 2003. Bloody expensive tho,lol

Yep it a Thunderbird triple, 1995. Been and partly undone the sump plug, looks more than 14mm . . Theres another plug with a smaller allen key head right next to the oil filter . . Can you drain from here as well ?

Just had a look in the haynes manual, no mention so I would think not, just says drain plug is located in the sump.

the head of the bolt will be bigger than 14mm obviously. I have looked on the website and they just say to replace the bolt basically. Are you sure the thread of the bolt is not 14mm, which is approx 9/16 of an inch diameter

Well I've just had a look at the sump plug on my tbird and no-way is the stahlbus drain valve any where near going to fit, the drain valve is way to narrow . . . Don't know where they got their spec from ?

Don't get the size of the head mixed up with the internal diameter thou. I use a 17 mm spanner or socket to undo mine but it's a 14 mm thread on the actual internal thread.

lol. easy mistake chiari. no coat or dark corner needed, nurse maybe????

punchy, got to ask, why did you buy anyway?? all you need to do is change a fibre or copper washer with the original sump nut and get some oil on your fingers, cheaper option than £30odd.
