The starter motor has been replaced on advice from Triumph tech team.
Have had Bonnies in the past but never had any problems.
It's been great weather in Scotland for a change and I've no bike .
Finger crossed for Saturday and I will let you know how I get on.

On pressing the starter it sounded like a flat battery but with perseverance it would catch. It could start all day or sit for 30 mins after a run and fail to start.
Fortunately the head mechanic tried it and it failed with him.
Good looking bike and great to ride

When I went to pick it up I was told it had started 15 times in a row. That is until they went to show me it was repaired. On cue it failed to start until 3rd attempt !

Could be a loose connection or fault with starter motor taking to much current if it is not the battery then ??

To be honest this is a problem for Triumph to solve, imo. They know they've got an issue.

With a spring in my step and full of hope I went to pick up my T120.
It's still with them. It's not the starter motor.
Seems it might start 10, 12 even 15 times then refuse. Back to the drawing board . They now have a video of it not starting.
At least they have given me the T120 Black to use until mines is fixed.
    Will keep you posted
