Sounds like you spent money chasing the wrong problem but the starter is much the same price here ..... or $300 Aussie on eBay for a used item.
Have found one on ebay 105dollors and another for 100 plus freight will make shore it is the starter i have a honda deauville 141000km and all i have ever done is replace the front fork seals apart from general mataince trust u all have a good day or night depending where u are
Jadorff Just think all that experience you will get. I take it the motor is not spinning. Do take a battery and test the motor. One wire to earth the other straight to the motor see if that works. If it works try the same on the solenoid. Also tell us what model is it. How many miles. And it may just be jammed or need new brushes. Regards Joe.
Its q 2008 done 70000km i tried that the motor turns over slow not enough to start will reply what auto bloke says thanks for the reply
So the auto bloke has been i dont understand it but the clutch switch had no earth and the starter relay was earthing through the wire that tells the computer we dont have enough volts so ran a new earth from the earh on the clutch and cut out the wire that tells the computer we dont have enough volts and it starts great anyway its going went fora ride and no promblams
Sorry even though it had no earth the solonid was still pulling in but with low voltige i would have never worked it out
