So I went to fill up my 2011 street triple with petrol yesterday and the key broke in my fuel cap! Nothing even sticking out to get a grip on. Four and a half hours for recovery as I knew there was not enough fuel to get anywhere. At least recovery was free. My own fault really as I haven't oiled the lock all winter.

So, to stop this happening again and so I don't have to have another key on my keyring, I thought I'd get a spinner cap. Anyone know where to get one? Trawled through eBay and there either not for my bike or butt ugly! Any recommendations would be great.

I'd go back to standard and start maintaining. It's by far the better option in my mind.

How do you know that will fit my bike though? Loads of fuel caps but when I searched for 2011 street triple hardly any came up.

Yer I would have put the OEM one back on but my fantastic local bike garage decided to wreck the whole damn thing to get the key out! I won't be back to them then!
